RPM Switches

RPM Switches can be installed on engines with a GM HEI Ignition, Ford or Chrysler electronic ignition, any standard breaker points systems. They are adjusted with plug-in modules. When the engine reaches your set rpm, the RPM Switch circuitry kicks in and drops the spark to certain cylinders producing very accurate and smooth, backfire-free rev limits. Can be used on 4, 6 or 8-cylinder engines with inductive ignitions. Other models are designed to plug directly into a racecar using an HEI distributor. These units provide safe, smooth rev-limiting at any RPM to protect your engine and also stay rules compliant.
