Suspension tubes and tie rods have to be measured rod end to rod end, and a tape hooked over a heim joint never lands in the same place twice. This ruler indexes off the rod ends themselves. A black Powdercoat ruler with adapters for 1/2 Inch to 3/4 Inch tubes, held by a locking thumb screw for precise, repeatable measurements of nearly any suspension component fitted with rod ends.
