A crimp is either gas-tight or it is a future failure, and hand pliers rarely deliver the first one consistently. A ratcheting crimper will not release until the crimp is complete, which takes operator judgement out of the equation. A quick-change jaw design swaps dies without tools, covering insulated, non-insulated, Weatherpack, small gauge, and spark plug terminals.
Crimping pressure is adjustable and a carrying case is included.
