Saddle brackets hold a gauge rigidly, which means every bit of chassis vibration goes straight into the needle. A shock ring isolates the gauge instead, and the reading settles down enough to trust at speed. This grommet secures 2-5/8 Inch diameter gauges into a mounting panel and offsets them toward the driver for better visibility.
