An exposed battery connection is one dropped wrench away from a short that ends the day, and track debris finds bare terminals eventually. Terminal boots are the cheapest insurance on the car. Red battery switch boots for 8 to 4 gauge cable, accepting up to 2 gauge wire and 1/2 Inch power rings.
