Passing a 12 volt feed through a firewall is where a lot of good wiring jobs turn into a chafed cable and a short. A proper panel terminal makes it a sealed, mechanical connection on both sides of the panel. A red panel terminal with 3/8 Inch studs, designed for a 1.275 Inch mounting hole and supplied with all hardware needed for 3/8 Inch power ring terminals.
