This 7? steel retainer for Big Block Chevy, Chrysler and Big Block Ford applications is precision machined from 4140 chromemoly steel and finished in black oxide. This precision retainer is specifically designed for positive location when combined with COMP Cams high-quality valve springs.

Precision machined from chromemoly steel then black oxided, these 7 degree retainers are designed specifically for 3/8" valve engines with a 1.437"-1.500" outer diameter valve spring like our 984, 990, 972, 901, 988 and 950 springs.
