  • Self powered by a 9V battery
  • Low battery indicator to monitor your 9V power supply. NOTE: For use on engines running a magneto, a #MSD8132 Pro Mag Tach Converter may be required (sold separately). The output signal that is used to trigger magnetos is different than a conventional electronic ignition. This compact device converts the Pro Mag's coil signal into a 12 volt square wave signal so common tachometers designed for electronic ignitions can be used with the Pro Mag. The Converter is less than three inches in length and its circuits are encased in epoxy for water and vibration resistance.
