The Sparco Eagle Auto Racing Suit features the proprietary I4L technology to produce an ultra lightweight and breathable driving suit. The Sparco Hocotex I4L driving suit honeycomb structure is ultra-thin, highly breathable and lightweight (average weight of 300/330 g/m2) and complies with new FIA 8858-2018 homologation. Hocotex I4L is the first major change in material production in 20 years and is set to change the way race suits are made in the future providing even higher levels of comfort and performance. Patented by Sparco, the Hocotex technology was 3 years in development. The result is a single layer fabric which is able to do what has traditionally required 2 or even 3 layers previously. The new technology creates a honeycomb structure which traps air within the structure allowing a highly breathable material with high levels of flame protection.
