Hood blankets retain engine heat between races so an engine stays closer to operating temperature and makes its power sooner. They also protect bodywork from radiant heat during long pit sessions. Insulated construction with an included strap keeps the blanket in place.
Versions with header shields cover the hottest area of the engine bay.
Aluminized insulated mat includes strap. Hood blankets help retain heat in the engine compartment between races; available with or without header heat shields.
