The motor plate mounts the engine to the chassis and becomes a structural member, carrying engine torque into the frame. A plate that flexes lets the engine move, changing driveline alignment under load. Thick aluminum construction with correct mounting patterns handles those loads while keeping weight down.
Lightening pockets remove mass without giving up the stiffness the plate needs.
Manufactured from 3/8 Inch thick 6061 aluminum. These raised rail rear plates are lightened on the inside to keep dirt from getting trapped in lightening pockets. Designed to fit both standard and raised cam engines, the plates have multiple drilled and tapped holes for mounting pumps and accessories.
Lower edge holes allow mounting floor pan securely to motor plate. Available in natural or black anodized finish. 24-5/8 Inch W x 12-7/16 Inch H, weighs 7.5 Pound.
