The nose wing post carries the downforce the front wing generates and transfers it into the torsion tube, so it works under constant load and takes any debris that gets past the rock screen. A bent or failed post changes wing angle mid-race and costs front bite. This titanium post is 13 Inch long with a 3 Inch offset and 1 Inch O.D. tubing, giving the strength of steel with meaningfully less mass carried high on the car.
Lower weight up front helps the car respond the way the setup intends.
