Ti22 Performance Birdcage Spiral Locking Ring

The spiral lock ring retains the bearing in the birdcage, holding it against the loads the cage transfers every lap. A failed ring lets the bearing walk, which destroys the cage bore. Correct ring size for the bearing and housing is what makes the retention positive.
These are replaced whenever a bearing is serviced.
