The return spring pulls the brake pedal back so the master cylinder fully releases, preventing residual pressure that drags the pads. Dragging brakes build heat, cost speed, and can boil fluid. High-strength coil springs with retainers hold up to constant cycling.

Fits common master cylinders, so replacement is straightforward.

Engineered to prevent the driver from overheating the brakes, high-strength coil spring is sold complete with retainer. Fits all master cylinders.
