The Jacob's Ladder locates the rear axle laterally and sets the roll center, making it one of the highest-leverage adjustments for how the car turns and takes off. Getting the pickup point right for the track conditions can be worth more than a spring change. Quick pin designs let you move that point in minutes instead of unbolting the assembly.
Lower mass here also reduces weight carried high at the rear of the car.
The titanium option significantly reduces part weight by almost 1/2 Pound over the standard chromoly ladder: Titanium = 11.2 Ounce, Chromoly = 1 Pound 3 Ounce. All ladders are offered with titanium hardware.
