The brake rotor converts the car's momentum into heat, so its size and material determine both stopping power and how quickly it sheds that heat. A warped or undersized rotor gives an inconsistent pedal at the worst moment. Correct diameter and thickness match the caliper and the braking loads a sprint car generates.
Rotors are wear items, checked for thickness and runout regularly.
Durable billet aluminum adapters accept most popular rotors. Designed for rear inboard mounting, adapters are black anodized. Sold individually.
