Ti22 Double Birdcage Assembly Right Rear Adjustable
The birdcage is the rotating hub that ties the torsion arm, radius rods, and shock to the rear axle, so everything the chassis does on corner entry passes through it. A cage that flexes or binds bleeds off horsepower and dulls the driver's feel. Precision bearings and a machined billet housing keep those pickup points located exactly where the setup expects.
Sold side-specific, so the correct hand matters when ordering.
Made from 7075-T5 aluminum, Ti22's Double Wide Birdcages are among the most innovative cages on the market today. The cages were ultimately created to eliminate bind in the birdcage bearings. Bearing bind, created by twist in the birdcage, absorbs all-important horsepower that could be applied to the rear wheels.
By distributing the weight between the two bearings, excess bind is eliminated, allowing for a more efficient transfer of horsepower to the rear wheels. The cages require the standard offset rear torsion arm offered by Ti22 as well as a custom rear axle. The rear axles are available from Winters, DMI, and Frankland.

Ti22 specializes in titanium components. Titanium is a lightweight, strong, lustrous, and corrosion-resistant metal with a silvery color, and is prized in the aerospace and marine industries for its strength and durability. Its resistance to the elements, combined with the highest strength-to-weight ratio of any metal, also make it the preferred choice for high-performance racing applications.
