Drag links and tie rods carry the steering loads between the Pitman arm, steering arms, and front wheels, meaning any flex here becomes vague steering feel. These parts take a direct hit whenever the front end finds a rut or another car. High-strength chromoly resists bending without adding unnecessary weight to the front of the car.
Correct length is what sets steering geometry, so sizing to the chassis matters.
Ti22's Tie Rods and Drag Links are made using high-strength 1-1/8 Inch O.D. 4130 chromoly tubing.
