The universal joint allows driveline angle while transmitting engine torque, absorbing every shock load wheelspin and gear change produce. A worn joint introduces vibration and eventually fails, taking other driveline parts with it. Premium joints with correct cap size handle the loads open wheel racing generates.
Joints are wear items inspected at every teardown.
Standard-duty U-joint assemblies are exceptionally lightweight, while remaining very durable. Black anodized billet aluminum units are offered with choice of 16 or 32-spline with four-bolt flanges, are fitted with Spicer U-joints, and mate to the rear of Chevy or Chrysler engines. Sold complete with premium fasteners.
