It is especially crucial to ensure that the TV cable is adjusted correctly when installing a GM 700R4 transmission in a non-stock application featuring either an Edelbrock or a Holley carburetor. If it is not, serious damage could occur. The TCI TV Cable Corrector Kit makes it a snap to install and adjust the TV cable for the popular 700R4 or 2004R. The kit's simple and easy-to-use design features a durable steel construction and comes with all of the parts and pieces needed for a clean install. To complete installation, simply attach the included brackets to the carburetor, one end of the TV cable to the brackets and the other end of the cable to the transmission. No modifications are needed, meaning that the self-adjusting TV cable can be hooked up and installed without removing the transmission itself.
