The Low Profile distributor uses a large diameter distributor cap which allows it to carry the high voltage outputs of an MSD race ignition. For high-rpm stability, the Low Profile Distributors housing is CNC machined from a solid billet of 6061-T6 aluminum. Inside this precision housing, a heat-treated 9/16 diameter distributor shaft is guided by an upper sealed ball bearing for high rpm endurance and stability.
