MPD Torsion Bar - Tubular - 1025 lb./in Spring Rate - 1-1/8" Spline - 30" Long - Steel
Tubular torsion bar, 30 Inch long with a 1.025 Inch outside diameter and 1-1/8 by 48 spline ends. The 1.025 Inch diameter puts this in the middle of the 30 Inch range, a common starting point before going softer or stiffer based on how the track comes in. Torsion bar diameter is the primary spring rate adjustment on a sprint car, and small diameter changes make a real difference.
Effective length is 23 Inch. Made from 4340 alloy steel, heat treated. Sold individually.
