Three different gear reduction-type models with custom machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum noses are availabe to fit nearly every application. The Pro Super-Lite is the lightest (7. 5 lbs. ), most compact starter available. Starter has multiple clocking positions to position the solenoid for best header / oil pan clearance. The 6: 1 gear reduction offers ample power for cranking engines with up to 11: 1 compression ratios. The Pro Plus is slightly heavier (10. 5 lbs) than the Super-Lite, but has more cranking power for engines with up to 11. 5: 1 compression ratios. The Pro Extreme is used where maximum cranking power, rather than weight savings, is a priority. The Pro Extreme provides a whopping 2. 68 horspower of cranking power and is recommended for engines which have in excess of 11. 5: 1 compression ratios. Weighs in at 11. 5 lbs. , yet it's still up to 25% lighter than OEM starters.
