Hedman Hedders Painted Hedders Exhaust Header 69230 Tube Size 1 5/8 in. - Collector Size 3 in. - Tubular Exhaust Manifold System - w/o Smog Injection Or Injection Heads
Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing long and MID-LENGTH tube headers for Chevy trucks for nearly as long. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Small Block Chevy exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors
These uncoated, LONG-TUBE headers fit 1967-1991 4WD (only) 1/2 and 3/4 ton Chevy Trucks, Blazers and Suburban's, powered by a Small Block Chevy engine (check the application listings for exact fitment). The smooth 1-5/8 in. tube design provides ample exhaust flow to let your truck's 283-400 SB Chevy engine breathe easy, and produce maximum horsepower and torque
These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish
Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed
Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Hedman Hedders, began as a one man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. But, what started out as a way to make a few bucks to pay for Bob’s racing hobby, quickly turned into the premier hedder manufacturer for both the racing and street hedder marketplaces.
