Hedman Hedders Standard Uncoated Headers; 1-3/4" Tube Diameter; 3" Collector; Full Length Design
Hedman's Standard-duty, Uncoated Hedders are manufactured using 18 gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes (some models built using thicker 16 or 14 gauge tubing), and 1/4 flanges (some models use 3/8" flanges).
Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and classic musclecars is their specialty. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your Big Block Chrysler's exhaust system to bolt up, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors
These uncoated, LONG-TUBE headers fit a variety of 1967-1974 MOPAR passenger cars powered by a Chrysler 361-440 B/RB engine. Included in this list of popular models are 1970-74 Dodge Challenger and Plymouth Barracuda, '66-74 Dodge Charger, '68-74 Plymouth Roadrunner and '67-70 Belvedere (check the application listings for exact fitment). These headers fit both manual and automatic transmission models, however, modification to the shift linkage may be required. The smooth 1-3/4 in. tube design provides excellent exhaust flow to let your Chrysler 361-440 (wedge-style) engine breathe deep to produce maximum horsepower and torque
These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish
Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed
Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Hedman Hedders, began as a one man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. But, what started out as a way to make a few bucks to pay for Bob’s racing hobby, quickly turned into the premier hedder manufacturer for both the racing and street hedder marketplaces.
