Designed in conjunction with noted drag racer Billy Glidden, Victor Glidden number 2859 is for all-out nitrous-assisted drag race applications. It features intake runners with a large cross-section area of 3.2 square-inches for maximum high-end horsepower.

  • Chevrolet:Small-Block Gen I Race
  • For use with 15 and 18 Degree Chevy with 4500 Series Carburetor.
  • Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
  • Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used.
  • Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
  • Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
  • NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.
  • Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Improper installation will void your warranty and may result in poor performance and engine or vehicle damage.
