Victor Pontiac EFI is based on the Torker II Pontiac manifold number 5056 designed for 1965-79 street 389-455 c.i.d. Pontiac V8s. Can be used with Ram Air IV heads; will not fit Ram Air V heads. Will not fit 265/301 c.i.d. V8s or under Trans Am Shaker hood.

  • No provisions for exhaust heated chokes or EGR. Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant #1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS. Optimum cylinder head port opening size should be as close as possible to the size of the gasket being used. Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum. Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage. NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal. To ensure maximum performance and a proper seal, Edelbrock gaskets which are specifically designed and manufactured for use with Edelbrock parts must be used.
