Computer Controlled DUI Distributor - 1985-1991 Chevrolet V8 - Screw Hold Style Cap - Internal Coil - Black Cap
If you have a computer-controlled engine, this is the replacement distributor you need. All new parts are used to insure durability and performance. The brass terminal cap and rotor provide maximum conductivity. Nylon rotor hold down screws are used to prevent high rpm misfires. This distributor is available in the one-piece version, with the 7 pin Dyna-Module and 50, 000 volt Street/Strip DUI coil built inside the distributor (1981-1991 Chevy V8). Both the L-clamp style cap and the screw down cap style are available. The distributor is also available for 1987-1996 GM V8's which has the 8 pin Dyna-Module built inside the distributor and takes a remote mounted coil-preferably our Screamin' Demon Coil (Screamin' Demon Coil must be ordered separately-not included in price of distributor). This unit is easy to install, plugging directly into your factory wiring. These computer distributors are polished for a high tech appearance. Each unit comes with oil impregnated brass bushings and are lubed for long lasting life. These distributors are also shimmed for proper end-play clearance to assure maximum magnetic pick-up coil inductance.
