This cog drive steel hub and driveflange is designed for use in classes that require steel hubs and driveflanges such as IMCA modifieds and others. The cog style driveflange is 2 lbs. lighter than standard style driveflanges. They utilize five drive cogs that are sunk into the hub face and held in place with cap screws, this design minimizes the outside diameter of the flange reducing the weight by 2 lbs. . The hub is designed to use a 5 bolt brake rotor instead of the standard 8 bolt rotor, the brake rotor is 1 lbs. lighter than the standard rotor for a total of 3 lbs. weight savings.
