The windshield support bar is installed centered between the dash bar and halo bar to provide extra support to the halo bar and provide additional frontal protection to the windshield area. This style of bar is often referred to as an Earnhardt Bar and mandated in many classes due to the added support and safety it provides when properly installed. The bar is constructed of.109 Inch mild steel 1-3/4 Inch tubing that is formed and notched for the halo bar on one end for easier installation.
