Allstar Performance Standard Starter Solenoid - Ford Style

Ford-style solenoid is perfect for use with high torque racing starters. Flat base eases mounting, and a remote under-hood starter switch or timing light hook-up can be easily adapted.
Solenoid is offered separately, or may be ordered with installation kit (ALL76202) that includes wiring, terminals and hardware. Fasten both sides of bracket to a clean metal surface for proper grounding.
One 5/16 Inch stud supplies power to the starter and one 5/16 Inch stud connects power from the battery or battery disconnect. One #10 stud connects power from the starter button or crank power from the ignition switch, and one #10 stud connects to the 12V side of the ignition coil on point style ignitions to provide full battery 12V only during cranking.
Note: A jumper wire is commonly used to also supply power to a starter mounted solenoid.
