Performance spring pre-loader lets you run a softer spring rate that is pre-loaded at ride height. A pre-loaded spring sees less rate increase as the suspension travels, so the car stays more consistent through the corner.
As an example, a 150 lb./in. spring can be pre-loaded to 400 lbs. at ride height but still only increases at 150 lb./in. as the suspension moves. The entire unit can also be swapped for another unit with a different rate spring pre-installed, allowing spring rate changes without affecting ride height.
