Reusable silicone rubber gaskets are 3/16 Inch thick and feature a molded-in steel reinforcing layer and mounting hole inserts to help gaskets keep their shape and prevent overtightening. Gaskets also feature a multi-ribbed surface for use with composite or aluminum valve covers, not recommended for stamped steel valve covers.
