High temperature silicone heating pads externally preheat oil in wet sump oil pans, dry sump tanks and automatic transmission pans, reducing overall warm up time and improving lubrication during initial start up. 3 Inch cord, 120-volt operation.
These are not thermostatically controlled, units will continue to heat as long as they are plugged in. ALL76424 is a 6 Inch x 12 Inch velcro strapped pad for 6 Inch OD tanks, rated at 435W.
Warning: do not plug heater into electrical outlet without being installed on tank or metallic surface to absorb heat. Element heats up quickly and damage will result.
