Universal plates are positioned between the engine and transmission to provide a mid-engine mounting location and help stiffen the chassis. These mid plates are great for drag racing and street cars, allowing easier engine or transmission removal, and installation of engine/transmission into almost any chassis. Plates fit most GM V8 applications and measure 15"H x 29"W.
