Universal plates are positioned between the engine and transmission to provide a mid-engine mounting location and help stiffen the chassis. These mid plates are great for drag racing and street cars allowing easier engine or transmission removal and installation of engine/transmission into almost any chassis. Plates fit most GM V-8 applications and measure 15 Inch H x 29 Inch W. ALL38122 is Aluminum, 0.250 Inch thick.
