A young and determined Kyle Larson made an incredible run to the front this past weekend at the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event at the legendary Calistoga Speedway. Larson would start the A-main in 21st and would charge through the field throughout the event and finish 3rd.

Everyone in racing knows it takes a little luck to finish good in the highly competitive series, and Larson wasn’t without his fair share of close calls. However you can watch the video and watch Larson pull amazing passes on “The King” Steve Kinser, and Joey Saldana.

“If I could ever qualify, I might have a shot at winning one of these things,” Said the 18 year old Larson. “I think I get hard charger every-time I’m out here. This is the greatest feeling I have ever had, to finish on the podium with these World of Outlaw guys.”

The race would also have plenty of excitement as Craig Dollansky would take the white flag in the lead and look to have the race all but wrapped up. However coming out of turn 4 the car would run out of gas and would coast down the frontstretch handing the win to Jason Sides. Dollansky would end up settling for 2nd.

Up next for the World of Outlaws is Paducah International Raceway on April 15th. For more information on the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series visit Woosprint.com]
