Normally when a sponsorship program gives away a car, it is to the winner of the series, not a fan. PRNewswire released information regarding the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and ApplianceZone.com sponsorship geared toward fans. One lucky fan will win a special 2011 Chevy RS Camaro and an all expenses paid trip to the season finale of the ApplianceZone.com Dirt Track World Championship.

ApplianceZone.com signed on as the “Official Appliance Parts Retailer” for the next three years of the series.  Fans can enter to win the 2011 Chevy RS Camaro (which will also serve as the official pace car for the series) through the AppiianceZone website with no purchase necessary for the initial entry starting on February 7, 2011. Additional entries for the giveaway will be awarded to those making purchases through ApplianceZone.com.

This Camaro will serve as the official pace car for the series this year and will be on display to fans starting February 9, 2011 at the East Bay Raceway event and will be present at all events during 2011 series. The winner will be announced at the Dixie Shootout in Woodstock, Georgia on October 8, 2011. Winning an official pace car and an all expenses paid trip for two is pretty sweet, but having the car awarded to you on the front straightaway only increases the cool factor.
