Hedman Hedders Standard Uncoated Headers; 1-5/8" Tube Diameter; 3" Collector; Full Length Design

Hedman's Standard-duty, Uncoated Hedders are manufactured using 18 gauge, mandrel bent primary tubes (some models built using thicker 16 or 14 gauge tubing), and 1/4 flanges (some models use 3/8" flanges).

Hedman Hedders has been manufacturing quality headers in the USA since 1954, and they've been manufacturing Ford Mustang headers for nearly as long as Mustangs have been on the road. Each set uses mild steel, smooth flowing, CNC mandrel bent tubes, that are hand-welded to ensure each pair is identical to the next. Hedman's unique, gasketless ball and socket collector design allows your exhaust system to bolt up to these 351W engine swap headers, even if it is not perfectly aligned with the header collectors

These uncoated mild steel, LONG-TUBE headers are designed specifically for swapping a 351W engine into (non-factory 351W equipped) 1964-73 Ford Mustang, Falcon, or '66-73 Ranchero, Torino. The engine must be centered between the frame rails. These headers fit both automatic and manual transmissions, but won't work with 4 speed top-loader transmissions, and clutch and shift linkage may be required. The smooth 1-5/8 in., oval port tube design tucks in tight to clear shock towers, and provide excellent flow to let your 351W engine breathe better, and produce excellent low-end torque and horsepower

These headers are uncoated, and ship from the factory with a temporary black paint that will burn off when submitted to normal operating temperatures. For protection against the element and lower underhood temperatures, these headers are also available with a silver or black ceramic-metallic finish

Each set includes a pair of gaskets, header flange bolts and collector bolts. No collector gasket is needed

Hedman Hedders is so confident in the quality of its headers that these headers are factory backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty

Hedman Hedders, began as a one man shop in 1954. Bob Hedman, founder of Hedman Hedders, sold his highly sought after exhaust tubes to fellow racers on the salt flats of the Mojave Desert. But, what started out as a way to make a few bucks to pay for Bob’s racing hobby, quickly turned into the premier hedder manufacturer for both the racing and street hedder marketplaces.
