RAM 'Assault Weapon' multiple disc clutches are one of the lightest and most affordable metallic clutches available for oval track and road racing. At 6 inches in diameter, these units are a full inch smaller in diameter than competitive brands. Each unit utilizes a CNC machined button flywheel and pressure ring in an open designed housing to eliminate heat and dirt buildup in the clutch. The patented Rametallic friction discs stand up to occasional slippage that can put other multi disc clutches out of business. The absence of internal splines eliminates the possibility of floater plate hang up. Button units are designed for use with a factory style flex- plate. Full flywheel units feature CNC machined billet aluminum housings with the factory style ring gear. KEY
