Aluminum adapter installs in place of the OE style oil filter adapter, providing 1/2"NPT inlet and outlet ports for connecting to an external oil filter mount. Adapter is commonly used when header clearance does not allow easy access to block mounted oil filter. Adapter fits most 1968-96 SB Chevy and 1968-90 Gen IV BB Chevy engines and includes mounting hardware and O-rings.
