Joshua Williams Again at T.I.R. with ASCS Southwest

(Photo Credit: George Levy) TUCSON, Ariz. (July 26, 2014) - For the second time in 2014, Joshua Williams found victory with the ASCS Southwest Region at the high speed Tucson International Raceway. Backing up his April 5 victory, Williams drew the pole but gave chase the first dozen laps as Ryan Linder jumped from outside of the front row to lead the way. Blowing a left-rear tire at the race's midpoint, Williams was able to assume the lead, and ultimately the win. Sixth starting Rick Ziehl crossed second with Colby Copeland making his first appearance of the season with the Southwest Region in third. Bob Ream, Jr. came to fourth from ninth for his seventh top-five finish in as many starts followed by twentieth starting Rickey Hood in fifth. Michael Bonneau was sixth with Lance Norick seventh. Quick Look: Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals

  (Photo Credit: Bryan Hulbert) TULSA, Okla. (July 27, 2014) - One of the crown-jewels of the 360cid Sprint Car world is without a doubt the Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals. The $10,000 to win event kicks off its 24th edition on Thursday, July 31 and runs through Saturday, August 2 as the start of the Southern Iowa Sprint Week. At the time of writing, the entry list of the Arnold Motor Supply 360 Knoxville Nationals includes 94 drivers representing 22 United States as well as Australia and Canada. Previous Champions entered number five with Terry McCarl (1996, 2001, and 2009), Jeff Swindell (2002), Danny Lasoski (1995), Billy Alley (2004 and 2005), and Wayne Johnson (2000 and 2008) looking for another title. The talk of the town is the fact that defending champion, Shane Stewart, will not be in attendance as he will be competing at the I-55 Speedway. ASCS Frontier Back at it in Belgrade and Billings

Andrew Kunas / Bryan Hulbert - RATHDRUM, Idaho - With a brand new points leader following the recent Lucas Oil ASCS presented by MAVTV American Real events, the ASCS Frontier Region tour of the returns to action this weekend with races at Gallatin Speedway in Belgrade on Friday, July 25 and Billings Motorsports Park on Saturday, July 26. After a rough weekend for Idaho's Joe Ramaker, Alberta's Kelly Miller emerged from the the Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour races as the new leader for the ASCS Frontier Region, holding an 11-point edge over Ramaker. Miller was the highest finishing Frontier Region regular in the July 12th National Tour race with a ninth place finish at Billings Motorsports Park, earning first place Frontier Region points while Ramaker was unable to start the B-Feature after suffering severe rear end damage in his car during his heat race earlier in the evening. Walker Breaks Through with ASCS Sooner at Creek County Speedway

  SAPULPA, Okla. (July 18, 2014) - Good things come to those who are willing to put in the effort, and that effort finally cashed in for Mickey Walker at the Creek County Speedway on Friday night, winning for the first time against the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region. Chasing Howard Moore for 24 laps, Walker put the hammer down to steal the win exiting the final turn to become the 53rd winner with the ASCS Sooner Region. Moore crossed second with point leader, Dustin Morgan, taking the final step on the podium. Joe Wood, Jr. was fourth from tenth with Sean McClelland from twelfth making the top five. Kevin Ramey, Brandon Hanks, and Koby Barksdale made the top-eight. Kevin Cummings from twentieth crossed ninth with Tim Kent finishing tenth. It's "Full Blown Chaos" in Victory Lane at Lawton

  LAWTON, Okla. (July 19, 2014) - The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region made the trip to the Lawton Speedway on Saturday night with series point leader, Dustin Morgan, parking the Ark Wrecking of Oklahoma No. 93 in Victory Lane. Starting third, Morgan trailed at the start as pole sitter, Kevin Ramey, took off to the early lead. Surrendering the point on Lap 5, Alex Sewell led the way until Dustin Morgan raced by on Lap 9 where he proved unstoppable. Ramey raced to a second place finish with Sewell third. Joe Wood, Jr. grabbed fourth with Sean McClelland making the top-five. Eighteenth starting Koby Barksdale raced to sixth with Brandon Hanks seventh. Danny Jennings from fifteenth was eighth with Martin Edwards ninth and Michelle Decker tenth. ASCS Gulf South in action in Texas and Louisiana

  TULSA, Okla. (July 15, 2014) - Taking on tracks in Texas and Louisiana this coming weekend, the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region will hit the clay at the Golden Triangle Raceway Park in Beaumont, Texas on Friday, July 18 before their long awaited return to the Leesville 171 Speedway in Leesville, La. on Saturday, July 19. The season's final visit to the Golden Triangle Raceway Park, four previous trips has yielded just as many winners. Jon Agan grabbed his first ASCS victory on March 14. Tommy Bryant topped the field on May 2 with Johnny Herrera running to victory on May 25. Travis Rilat is the most recent winner with the series at the one-third mile oval on June 20. Weekend Rewind: American Sprint Car Series

  TULSA, Okla. (May 5, 2014) - The Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by MAVTV American Real returned to competition this past weekend with events at the Outlaw Motorsports Park in Muskogee, Okla. and Riverside International Speedway in West Memphis, Ark. The weekend also included ASCS Regional competition in Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Missouri, and Texas. Overall, 154 drivers took part in ASCS sanctioned events over the weekend. (May 3, 2014) - A short drive for Danny Jennings ended with $2,000 in his pocket, as the Norman, Okla. driver led flag-to-flag with the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region at the Lawton Speedway on Saturday night. Sean McClelland crossed second with Dustin Morgan posting his third podium finish in as many races. Kolt Walker finished fourth from fourteenth with Joe Bob Lee completing the top five in his first start of the season with the Sooner Region. ASCS Sooner Region joining National Tour before Lawton

TULSA, Okla. (April 29, 2014) - The American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region is in action this weekend with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series National Tour on Friday, May 2 at the Outlaw Motorsports Park before venturing to a standalone event at the Lawton Speedway on Saturday, May 3. Rounds three and four in 2014, the series is currently led by Dustin Morgan who started his season off with a pair of podium finishes, a third at West Siloam Speedway and second at Springfield Raceway. Mike Goodman is currently second, trailing by 12 markers with Kyle Chady, Alex Sewell, and 2014 season opener winner, Seth Bergman, making up the top five. Seth Bergman tops ASCS Sooner at West Siloam

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (April 18, 2014) - Seth Bergman picked up his second ASCS Regional victory of the season, this time at the West Siloam Speedway in West Siloam Springs, Okla., and for the second straight year topped the American Bank of Oklahoma ASCS Sooner Region's season opening event. Drawing the pole for the night $2,000 to win event, Bergman rode second to Morgan Turpen, who jumped to the lead from the outside of the front row. An extended red on Lap 16 gave Bergman the chance to tweak his Oil Field Equipment and Manufacturing No. 23, and was able to roll to the center line of the West Siloam Speedway on the restart to claim the lead.
