(April 6, 2014) - Mounting a late race charge, Danny Lasoski powered the Mark and Parker Burch No. 1m to the top spot at the I-80 Speedway, claiming the $2,500 winner's check with the Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region. Lining up seventh for the start, Lasoski hung in the top five most of the race as pole sitter, Ian Madsen, jumped to the lead; surrendering the point in traffic on Lap 10 to the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 82 of Kevin Swindell. Caution displayed with seven laps to run, the charge was on from Lasoski who worked past the battling due of Swindell and Madsen for the lead on Lap 23 in dramatic fashion. Before some Chili Bowl drivers hit the dirt track at the RiverSpirit Expo Center, several of them visited the Children's Hospital at Saint Francis Tuesday morning. Chili Bowl drivers got away from the dirt track to spread a little cheer to children at Saint Francis. For more information on the Chili Bowl, click here . About a half dozen car drivers, from all different motorsports, visited several kids at the hospital. They took pictures, signed autographs. And they handed out shirts and sock animals that you can color with markers. Al Tschider has helped organize visits for years. (September 8, 2013) Slide jobs was the word of the night at Eagle Raceway with the Speedway Motors Midwest Region on Sunday night with Danny Lasoski utilizing a green, white, checkered restart to get the pass on Jason Johnson for the $5,000 Nebraska Cup championship check.  The field chased Jack Dover at the start with Danny Lasoski jumping to the runner up spot to begin the night’s 30 lap feature. Finding slower traffic by Lap 8, Lasoski was quickly joined by Jason Johnson and Tony Bruce, Jr. as the trio chased down Dover. Going three wide for the lead on Lap 10 with the back markers, Dover held off the charging Lasoski with the caution waving on Lap 11. At speed, Lasoski and Dover proceeded to exchange slide jobs for the next two laps with Dover swapping the lead four times with the No. 1m before finally getting some breathing room.
