More About Sway Bars & Components

Gundrilled sway bars offer a significant weight saving without any performance change. The gundrilled bar center diameter is made larger so the bar will have the same spring rate as a solid bar and no chassis adjustments are necessary. As a car goes around the race track, the link between the track's surface and the chassis includes the tires, springs and sway bars. Sway bars have a great deal to do with the car's response.
Schroeder uses only aircraft quality alloy steel and CNC machinery to produce bars with better memory and consistency. The bars are polished to remove any surface imperfections that could cause a crack to generate, and are coated with a special preservative.
