Bryan Clauson will be piloting his NOS Energy Drink/Curb Records/Corey Tucker Racing/Spike/Esslinger Midget #39 around the famed Silver Dollar Speedway on March 11th for the John Padjen Classic. The twenty-one year old has never raced on the quarter-mile and will be in competition in both the USAC Western Classic Racing Series as well as the USAC/BCRA Midget Series. While Bryan hasn’t had the opportunity to race at Chico in the past he has many memories of the Northern California track watching his father compete.

“Bryan grew up in the grandstands at Chico, Placerville and Grass Valley,” said Tim Clauson. “When we moved back to Indiana Bryan was too young to race in California and it’s always been one of his dreams to race at Chico.” Clauson concluded stating, “I’ve known John Padjen for a long time now and we felt it was a great opportunity to come home and race in an event that recognizes John and what he has meant to Northern California racing.”

Bryan competed across the country in 2010 in three of USAC’s Sanctioning Seires; Silver Crown, Midget and Sprint Car. He drove his way to 19 victories between the three series en route to the 2010 National title.

The John Padjen Classic is two nights of racing at Chico’s Silver Dollar Speedway that will be held on March 11th and 12th. Also taking the track will be the World of Outlaws for the Mini Gold Cup.
