Comments:
I bought my first Scribner fuel can about 11- 12 years ago. The only minor issue I have had is that the vent cover got damaged a few years back requiring a small piece of plastic wrap between to keep it from leaking. PitstopUSA has the replacement vent cap for dirt cheap I just found out. They also had by far the lowest price for this quality can. I think these can last 15 years or better. After 12 years the white (semi clear) can has discolored a bit. I am buying red this time as some states require only red cans for gasoline. I have had gas in the can the whole 12 years, so I think it is suitable for long term storage as I plan to do, just my opinion tho, as some say not to use for fuel storage like the VP plastic jerry can that is very similar to this... You've been warned, but my experience says no problem and plastic will not degrade.

Scribner fuel jugs are the best, period. I have wasted a lot $ trying just about all others out there before I wised up.
