The Impact Phenom SS helmet line is a result of over 40 years of research and development experience, including wind tunnel testing. The new range was designed to meet the requirements of the new FIA 8859-2015 & the New Snell SA2015 ratings. Using a proprietary Carbon-Kevlar composition, the shells offer greater strength at a lighter weight than helmets manufactured from traditional fiberglass composites. The helmets have also been wind-tunnel tested to maximize exterior vent placement and flow, while reducing buffeting in open cockpit applications. Impact also introduces a new size: Medium/Large. This M/L size takes advantage of using the smaller shell which is lighter and more compact.

"The Impact Phenom DS, 2-layer auto racing suit blends European styling with Made in the USA craftsmanship to achieve a stylish, comfortable suit. Hand-crafted from lightweight sateen Nomex® the Impact Phenom DS race suit is both FIA homologated, and certified to the SFI 3.2-A/5 specification. This allows the suit to be used in more series than conventional FIA homologated, or SFI certified only suits. The Impact Phenom DS firesuit also features V-stitch quilting for exceptional thermal performance; a 180 degree belt, and inset pockets for superior comfort!
