Second place finisher in last year’s event and current points leader Joey Saldana is another WoO frontrunner who plans on adding another W to the win column, hoping to tie Steve Kinser for the most wins so far this season with four.

Drivers from the Kasey Kahne Racing camp and the Tony Stewart Racing group will be featured around the city, participating in Speed Street events, taking the opportunity to meet with fans and sign some autographs. There will also be an autograph session held on Friday at 4:30 on the concourse for fans to come out and meet their favorite World of Outlaws drivers.

If you’re not in the Charlotte area, or are unable to make it to the race, the event is the first on the World of Outlaws schedule for this season to be shown live on SPEED at 8:00 pm. Friday, May 27th. The event will be shown in a two-hour live spectacular, showing the winged warriors at their best, slinging dirt and running slideways around the clay oval.

Stay tuned to OneDirt.com during the race for live updates from the track, and be sure to watch on SPEED.
