Flex-a-lite introduced the first electric engine-cooling fan to the U. S. after market in 1978. We continually develop, refine and expand this product group to provide electric fans for all types of automotive use. Our newest models, 180 and 295 are designed with full-size vehicles in mind, and are the best cooling electric fans made. Electric fans keep your engine cool, and improve the horsepower and torque at the wheels by eliminating the parasitic drag of the stock belt-driven fan. Electric fans also allow quicker warm ups and cool downs, longer water pump life, less fan noise, improved air conditioner performance and improve gas mileage. Features: High Output Motor Agressive Blade Pitch pulls 20% more airEntire Assembly is only 4" thick - NOTE: There are many factors that affect what size electric fan will be adequate to cool your vehicle: Engine size & output, radiator size & design, and outside air temperature & density are just a few. Generally speaking, it is best to maximize finned core area coverage and airflow capability when choosing an electric fan for your vehicle. For example, you may be able to fit 2 14" Trimline fans or one low-pro-file dual fan assembly on your radiator. The two separate fans have a bit better airflow potential, but the dual fan assembly would be a better choice because it covers a much larger area of the core. NOTE: Flex-a-lite does not recommend using an electric fan for the primary cooling source on 4-core radiators. Flex-a-lite recommends at least 60% of the finned core area be covered by an electric fan/shroud assembly for optimum cooling.Pit Stop USA offers Flex-A-Lite X-Treme Low Profile S-Blade Electric Fan w/ Adjustable Thermostat and A/C Relay - Reversable - 12.125" Diameter - 1505 CFM - 15 Amp Draw - Universal Bracket 115 at low everyday prices.
