Flexplate Safety Shields are designed to protect both drivers and spectators from the effects of a flexplate or starter ring gear failure. A flexplate shield is mandatory in many classes and types of racing and fits over the front part of the transmission bellhousing. All TCI Flexplate Shields are manufactured from high-strength steel and are also SFI 30.1 certified.
Chrome Color available under 940001, Silver under 940000, Red under 940003, Blue under 940004.See 970000, 970005, 975000, 975005, 980000, 980005 for GM Transmission Shields.
